So lets discuss about the seven wonders of the world and their speciality: 

1. Taj Mahal.

The Taj Mahal, a beautiful and magnificent structure, was built by the emperor Shah Jahan from 1632 to 1653. The Taj Mahal, located in Agra, India, is a beautiful marble structure that represents the pinnacle of Mughal architecture. Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal as a memorial to his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631 while giving birth to their 14th child, is commonly regarded as one of the new 7 wonders of the world. 

SPECIALITY: 

The Taj Mahal is a perfect symmetrical planned building, made of pure white marble with its special lustre and fine texture. The main structure is surrounded by gardens, fountains and pools. 

More than 22,000 labourers worked in the construction of the Taj Mahal. Various stones were brought from various countries. The white marble stone was brought from Rajasthan. Blue gems from Tibet, emeralds from Sri Lanka, jasper from Punjab, and crystals were imported from China. 

The Taj Mahal changes its colour 3 times a day. 

2. Christ the Redeemer Statue.

Christ the Redeemer was added to the seven wonders of the Modern World List on July7, 2007. The statue is 30 metres (98 ft) tall, not including its 8-metre (26ft) base, and its arms stretch 28 metres (92ft) wide. Christ The Redeemer is located in Corcovado Mountain, Rio de Janeiro, South-eastern Brazil. The statue weighs 635 metric tons, and is located at the peak of 7000 metre. The statue is the largest Art Deco style sculpture in the world. A symbol of Christianity around the world, the statue has also become a cultural icon of both Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. 

SPECIALITY: 

The statue of Christ the Redeemer has become a symbolic protector of people. Like Jesus Christ, the statue protects the urban environment, like a roof over your head. Cristo Redentor is as important as any shelter. Christ the redeemer provides protection for the soul. Christ the Redeemer is a masterpiece which expresses the feeling and the blessing of the Brazilian people. fitting perfectly to the landscape. The monument was conceived as an expression of the divinity of Jesus Christ and the unsearchable riches of his Paschal Mystery. 

3. The Great Wall of China.

The Great Wall of China was added to the seven wonders of the Modern World List on 2007. UNESCO acknowledged it as the largest man-made structure on Earth. The wall is made out of a variety of materials, including stone, brick, rammed earth, and wood. Individual walls were built as early as the 3rd Century BCE. However, it was during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 CE) that the Great Wall truly flourished. Rulers from that period built and fortified structures stretching nearly 9,000 km. The majority of the existing walls date back to the Ming Dynasty. In 1987, it was listed as UNESCO World Heritage site, and the cultural icon welcomes millions of visitors every year from around the world. Famous sections include Badaling, Mutianyu and Jinshanling. But natural wear and tear, as well as poor maintenance, has taken its toll on the massive structure. Today, only 8.2% of the Great Wall built during Ming Dynasty is well preserved. Three-quarters is in bad shape and a third has even disappeared.

SPECIALTY:

The Great Wall is the largest man-made project in the world. The complete route is over 20,000 km, stretching from the east seaside to the west desert in northern China, winding up and down across mountains and plateaus like a dragon. The Great Wall stretches across 15 northern Chinese provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, from the Bohai Sea in the east to the Gobi Desert, 2,500 km away in the west. There are 15 geographically important passes built along the route. The first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang took the remnants of ancient fortifications, walls, and earthworks and linked them into a unified wall circa 220 B.C..

4. The Roman Colosseum.

The Roman Colosseum of Rome was added to the seven wonders of the modern world list on 2007. Colosseum, giant amphitheatre built in Rome under the Flavian emperors. Construction of the Colosseum was begun sometime between 70 and 72 C.E during the reign of Vespasian. It is located just east of the Palatine Hill, on the grounds of what was Nero's Golden House. The artificial lake that was the centrepiece of that palace complex was drained, and the Colosseum was sited there, a decision that was as much symbolic as it practical. Vespasian, whose path to the throne had relatively humble beginnings, chose to replace the tyrannical emperor's private lake with a public amphitheatre that could host tens of thousands of Romans.

SPECIALTY:

The Colosseum covers over five acres of land. It had an underground network of tunnels, the hypogeum, with chambers and cages that held prisoners, gladiators, and animals. It is estimated that over 400,000 people died in the Colosseum. Lions, tigers, wolves, elephants, and leopards are some of the animals that were in the Colosseum. The Colosseum suffered at least three fires and four earthquakes, resulting in damage to the structure. The colosseum is the largest amphitheater the world.

5. Machu Picchu.

Machu Picchu is a 15th-century in Inca citadel located in the eastern Cordillera of southern of southern Peru above the Urubamba river valley. Machu Picchu often referred to the "Lost city of the Incas", it is the most familiar icon of the Inca Empire. Machu Picchu built in 15th century and later abandoned, it's renowned for its sophisticated dry-stone walls that fuse huge blocks without the use of mortar. Machu Picchu was declared a Peruvian Historic Sanctuary in 1982 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site  in 1983. In 2007, Machu Picchu was voted one of the New Seven Wonders of the world in a worldwide internet poll. 

SPECIALITY: Beautifully set within the majestic Andes mountain range at 7000 feet above sea level, Machu Picchu is also one of the least understood archaeological sites in the world. Machu Picchu was built in the classical Inca style, with polished dry-stone walls. It's three primary structures are the Intihuatana, the Temple of the Sun, and the Temple of the Three Windows. Mountains were sacred to the Incas, so this particularly high mountaintop dwelling would have had a special, spiritual significance. There are several Machu Picchu hiking options. Up to  1,000 people lived in Machu Picchu during the 1400s. 

6. Chichen Itza.

Chichen Itza was a large pre-Columbian city built by the Maya people of the terminal classic period. The archaeological site is located in Tinum Municipality, Yucatan State, Mexico. Chichen Itza was one of the largest Maya cities and it was likely to have been one of the mythical great cities, or Tollans, referred to in later Mesoamerican literature. The city may have had  the most diverse population in the Maya world, a factor that could have contributed to the variety of architectural styles at the site. Chichen Itza is one of the most visited archaeological sites in Mexico with over 2.6 million tourists in 2017. Chichen Itza is one of the "New wonders of the world" due to its large concentration of culturally significant, ancient man-made wonders and its placing in the top seven of all nominees during international voting.

SPECIALITY: The fusion of Mayan construction techniques with new elements from central Mexico make Chichen Itza one of the most important examples of the Mayan - Toltec civilization in Yucatan. The estimate age of The Chichen Itza is 1500 years old.  

7. Petra.

Petra is one of the "New wonders of the world" located in Jordan. Petra is the half built, half carved into the rock, and is surrounded by mountains riddled with passage and gorges. It is one of the world most famous archaeological site, where ancient eastern traditional blend with Hellenistic architecture. Petra is also called as lost city because in A.D. 363, Petra suffer another blow when a massive earthquake destroyed many of the city's buildings and its water supply system. By A.D. 700 only a few people leaved in and around Petra. Overtime, the city was lost to the outside the world.

SPECIALTY: Renowned for its charm ancient cultural heritage, Petra marks the achievement of an impressive civilization, the Nabataean Arabs, who perfectly carved city into its mountains.
